From the other European poster, it sounded like the cost of trading 5000 KXL now would be in the range of cdn$350, including exchange fees and yearly levy. A frightfully high price to me, but I know it costs to trade via Europe.
I wonder if you couldn't just have an account with a Canadian discount brokerage. I do that in the US, and although it is heavy with paperwork to keep the IRS happy, it works.
We are at a price breakthrough in Cdn$ ($5 range), and I wonder if with more Europeans trading whether things will get more interesting at 4 euros (cdn $5.90). The last euro barrier was, obviously, 3 euros (cdn $4.43).
