I gave this a test and ran the extra-wide page across two monitors, 2400 pixels wide.  The text does end up being readable on the far right - but these is a missing strip underneath the President's column.

I guess it's a case of "be careful what you ask for!".  I know Agoracom is trying to accomodate us - so now instead of a scroll bar across the bottom, the text disappears.  I know they're trying, and it's a pretty darn good site.

If the text you want to post is not a website address, then bring it into a word processor and give it new line breaks.  We can do that until some brilliant solution arrives from Agora.
