need an ifo here please

i know some of you guys are well informed

i just red a post on sh from soarhigher where it shows that

national bank was buying today more than 85k shares

what fascinated me thus was the fact that some trade

shows that the buyers and the sellers is the same (td securities)

my question is why sell and buy the exact numbers of shared instead of just holding thems?

it may be a real beginner question but i honnestly don t have a clue

on the concept here
