I've been away for a few days so am behind onthe chatter, forgive if this repeats someone elses post.  One thing I remember is Hodson giving Top picks on BNN saying that now he was ready to talk about a certain co because they were done buying it.  It would not surprise me if they are cool towards KXL until they have acquired what they plan to, then exclaim what a great company it is, so any SP increase from their comments helps them and does not drive up their cost.
