Today's Presentation Summary

posted on Mar 02, 2008 01:42PM

Hi everyone,

I made it out to PDAC this afternoon and managed to sit in on KXL's presentation at the Intercontinental Hotel. There were about 30-35 people in attendence for Brian J. Maher's, M.Sc., Vice President, Exploration very informative presentation. This was my first KXL presentation, so can't compare it to past ones- but Brian was an excellent speaker who delivered information in a way that all investors could understand.

In the room were various Agoracom members including PaulTiger, Fairchild and I think Coach who may have been sitting in the front row, I was at the back with a friend and never got a chance to see him. PaulTiger, very nice to meet you in person - always great to put a face to an alias ;)

I'm sure the above mentioned individuals will give a much thorough summary of the 'new' information we were given, but I wanted to provide my account of the new developments/information provided before they post to test my Geo 101 =)

I'll list them in point form below, and perhaps Coach and Paultiger and others in attendance can elaborate on the significance of them better than I can.

1. They have hired a new full time Project Manager specifically for the Hercules project. This individual came over from Kinross Gold to join the KXL time. Always a good sign IMO when someone leaves a major to join a junior expl company

2. They have developed a new type of map focussed on 'grade thicknesses' This was in the presentation and should be on the website tonight or mid week.

3. 4 additional drill holes are planned in Area 29 because of the encoruaging results todate

4. They plan on eventually onnecting the golden mile to area 29 through future drilling to explore this untapped area.

5. KXL believes there are possible veins to the south of the Golden Mile

6. Marino - the presence of stacked veins is a very encouraging sign and they plan on adjusting their drilling strategy accordingly i.e. be more efficient by drilling on angles to test multiple targets at the same time.

7. They now have a modern core logging facility in place to handle the increased drilling they expect for 2008

8. Should they identify additional targets on their HUGE land package, they already have assurances that additional drill rigs could be secured (on top of 3)

** My favorite

9. Yes the golden mile is very promising, but Brian believes that there could be some signficiant targets on their immense land package that may prove to have even better economic potential than the golden mile. There goal this year is to expand the resource potential by identifying possible new targets. Marino and its stacked veins are a promising sign that this can be accomplished.

10. Sleeping Giant will not receive too much attention it seems in 2008

All in all, I am very excited to be a KXL shareholder and will look forward to the vast amount of news that is going to come our way this year.

Look forward to others interpretation of this presentation and hope I have added some meaningful and accurate information to the board.
