Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
Like I said in my previous posts, this property (Millenium West) was not was easy to pry away from Geomode. Bill Chornobay wanted to walk away from the negotiations a number of times because the owner of Geomode was quite difficult and was asking too much. The Geo's talked management into pursuing these properties because they were quite attractive. And so they did. Other companies were also after that property, but did walk away.
So, I disagree that Cameco "let properties of value walk away". They just weren't as persistent and, ultimately. successful as Bill Chornobay was.
