Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
To those folks wanting to visit Hercules:
I would suggest driving from Thunder Bay. The airport is 2 - 2.5 hours from the site. Flying to Geraldton would save no time, plus there are no car rental opportunities.
The "airstrip" near Jellicoe is sand and grass. NUF CED.
Accomodations may be limited in the Geraldton/Beardmore area and if available will not be 4-Star. The area caters to fishermen and hunters and the accomodations reflect this. If you don't mind staying in these types of places, look for fishing lodges such as Colimar Lodge and Cedar Shores Resort. Both of these establishments are right on the Trans Canada Highway and are just outside of Jellicoe.
If trip planning, try to avoid the "May 24" long weekend. Everything will be booked up with American walleye fishermen.
Best bet - book your hotels in Thunder Bay.
As for the bugs - yes there are less of them in August, however, this is compared to June. BRING BUG DOPE!
If you guys go, it is a beautiful area with nature all around.
And watch for moose on the road!
Look forward to reading your trip details.
