Just got back from the Sault St Marie. I thought because of the lack of snow here in Thunder Bay this would be similiar to the Beardmore area, man was I wrong. There is still lots of snow in the Geraldton/Beardmore/Terrace Bay area. Good thing the weather was mild, rivers are open and water flowing pretty good and the storm that hit Thunder Bay Sunday night missed the Geraldton area. I think it will take a week or so for that snow to melt. Spoke to a guy at Robins coffee shop in White River and he said the frost line is pretty shallow this year because of the early snow in that area this year. White River is in the same area as Beardmore just on the south route of the highway. So I think patience will be the key! Jokal
