Your assumption that the company is obligated to keep you in the know is not correct.

They are obligated to run the company in the best interests of the stockholder with respect to building value. Not to keep us up to date for the sake of everyone getting a warm fuzzy.

The management has proven they are more than capabable of taking care of our best interests, so I'm sure that the strategy they are pursuing will make me happy come fall.
