Hi Markgraf!

I do not think assays are the only thing that matters. The only thing that matters in my opinion is whether or not KXL is able to define an economic deposit. The assays that are released are just representative of a very small part of what will likely amount to a very large exploration effort.

If my kid gets home from school and hands me his report card, and there are straight As with just one D, I am not going to assume the kid is a failure. Similarly, if my kid is constantly failing classes but one day comes home with a B, I am not going to conclude that he is a genius. But that analogy is exactly how investors behave regarding news releases.

My comments regarding the property controlled by KXL are simply to outline that we are going to get many sets of assays over the next few years. Any one batch of data does not matter in the overall story. KXL could be on the way to proving up 10 million ounces of gold, and yet I can flatly guarantee there will be some 'bad' drill results reported along the way, because that is the nature of exploration: You keep drilling until you get to the end of a system, and that is represented by assays with no gold. In a large property area, with a systematic exploration program in place, you are going to hit some areas where there is nothing of interest. Some investors will panic and sell.

One should never put too much importance on any individual assays. It is the overall body of data that will matter in the end.

KXL did not drill the best prospect first. They followed up on the Wilkinson Lake zone discovery because that outcrop was located within 20 feet of the main road through the property. It turned out to be a high grade zone and the rest is history.

We already know that the sulphides intersected at the Golden Gate zone were a target area that had been defined from a geophyscial anomaly. That still did not get immediate attention, even though it was a high priority target. I am sure there are others just like it that KXL has not even gotten around to testing yet. A systematic exploration program means that you have a plan, and you proceed with a logical progression in what part of the property you work.

cheers!

mike
