Paul - and everyone else - belated thanks. Just got back from Calgary today, no internet for nearly a week.

We are all hankering like crazy for a NR, and ... I hate to say this, but my gut feeling is that it won't be right away. Sorry to say that.

Brian is off with his family, and I doubt they would release without him here.

They may prefer to release later in summer, given that the stock momentum usually picks up again then. What do they say, May to August, go away? However they say it.

In any case, they will surprise us as best they can!

We have something solid that I think will really grow into something important. Last October gave us a sort of electric shock, and we're all still quivering a bit from that huge upswing.

I think this is the best phase of an exploration play - they have hundreds of square miles of prospect, kilometers of cuts proven to be gold-bearing, veins stacked one atop the other, and a huge whack of drill results coming in. You could hardly ask for a better story.

I bought a ton more in May thinking the NR was surely due then. I've cooled my jets - but my enthusiasm is still full-up.

Summer is the time for socializing, barbeques and such - even though I'll admit I can't resist tuning into the KXL board every day.

We hate not having interesting things to post about, but it's like giving 5 year old kids some seeds and planting them. The kids all want them to sprout the next day (or the next minute), and they will stare at the dirt and poke it, as if that would help, but as adults we know its takes a week.

I know, I know - we're incurable hurry-ups, me too. I put down grass seed before I left for Calgary, and checked it today before I'd even unpacked my bags. And I was upset that only some of it had come up by now!

Cooking a delicious steak is done hot first (an ex-girlfriend's mother said you have to "scare" it), then a bit of patience (and never turn more than once! - I used to be a short order cook). Cooking a steak too hot just gives you a piece of shoe leather. Here's to a wonderfully savory, juicy t-bone - enjoy your BBQs!
