These are not the Dead Sea Scrolls folks. When you start analyzing each work written and then a whole bunch that you start to infer but is not written you have reached the "paralysis by analysis" stage.

The last news release from my perspective was just compiled as a response to what was becoming an apparent flood of inquiries about "Wheres the news, wheres the news".

If you just stick to the facts which are (1) continuing to lock up claims in the area and (2) adding drills to get a clearer determination of the resource, then it is a reasonable inference that they are building on their knowledge base which is currently known only to themselves.

If the present drills results were negative you would normally move the drills to a new target. In this case they add drills which can only be interpreted as building on success.

Look at it this way folks, its way to hot to spend much time in Las Vegas anyway. Come September the pools are still open but you can enjoy a stroll without melting the bottom of your shoes on the hot pavement.
