I have a few reasons for using TD but I have enough money so all I pay is $9.99 a trade for any number shares at any price...I don't have to make a minimum amt of trades ..... I can buy 100K shares of KXL for $9.99 ..... and I have other reasons as I said , but also like you I feel sorry for anyone who uses a regular broker..... use a good discount broker..... each to his own....
