As per the recent FP article, aren't the majors going to need to start taking greater risks with regards to paying for potential? The majors need to keep replenishing their reserves, and from what I can see, there are not a heck of alot of juniors out there that are in positions to replenish the reserves of Goldcorp/Barrick/Newmont, etc. Therefore, I believe the majors are being boxed into a corner with regards to their ability to 'sit and watch' a story like Kodiak develop. they are going to need to make a move, or someone else will. I bet offers are already being discussed. The majors cannot let this one slide. After all, they have shareholders to report to....lol.

On another note, I gather that Bill C. is a hard nosed negotiator who is known for 'watching the dollars'. I wouldn't worry about whether or not we will squeeze every dollar out of these properties. They will.
