I don't think name-calling is appropriate in this case. Rico is simply saying that, gee, the news sounded good, but where is the market reaction? how come it ain't going up? that's how i read his comments, anyway.
over on silicon investor, I am hearing bored, jaundiced reactions to KXL. gold junior investors are feeling really burned out this summer. their stocks are down, they see one of the more promising juniors being snapped up by kinross for less than they think is right, etc.
Personally, i think the next round of payoffs on this stock will be this fall. Notice I said next. There will be multiple rounds, because this is a story that will evolve in fits, spurts and long dry spells that will leave people disappointed because of the trading mentality that prevades these internet chat rooms and our society.
Kodiak shareholders were clamoring for an update, so they got one. It happened to be on Aug. 1, the beginning of what is cyclically the slowest month of the year in the natural resource stock cycle.
I say, stay tuned or miss the movie.
