As far as I know 1 ppm is not equal to one gram not even close. Just trying to solve the issue here.

Here is the proper formula

1 ppm = 1 part per 1 million parts

1 ppm = 1 g / 1,000,000 g = 0.000001

Answer

1ppm is 0.000001g
