My prediction is that gold will reach 1000 US$ by the end of this year.

The recent weakness is in my oppinion due to that losts of people have sold various commodities 'packages' that also included gold companies. Commodities are indeed down with nickel below 5 bucks and zinc very low. The general mining industry is in for some belt tightening.

I don't think there is any more promising investment than gold right now. Sure some people will go bottom fishing in the stock market but with recession looming, housing down and inflation predictions, gold should be attractive

Junior gold exploration companies should see some of that action, but only those we real potential. Next year with gold above 1000 $, the only promotion we need is a couple of mine making hits and we will fly. Looking forward to exiting times and possibly even a pre-christmas gift
