I had lunch last week with some former collegaues from the mining industry and with the exception of the guy from Barrick they all seemed very concerned. Sudden slow down with lots of capacity reduction coming on and also delays of many projects.

Even the Barrick person saw problems since many of possible new gold projects come with a base metal as well, and the drop in base metal prices would make these projects less attractive.

At least most of Kodiak's finds have been pure gold so that could be good news for us. However, to be of interest to Barrick I think we need to show at least 5-10 million ounce potential

Although I think predicting the future is just impossible right now, I feel that coach may be a little too gloomy.
