exactly..... and I have a question that no one has answered yet but maybe I just haven't looked in the right place....... its this ... what happens to the price of a used electric/hybrid whatever when its a few years old and the batteries are no good..... the new batteries are worth a small fortune.... much more than putting in a rebuilt gas engine in a used car.... so who will want these things and where will they go.... to be totally recycled ? that means they are practically worthless when their battery life expires..... maybe someone can explain to me where my logic has gone wrong.... I hope so or these "green " cars won't be so green after all..... and imagine trying to use electric vehicles for the long distances we have here in Canada.... no we won't get rid of the gas or diesel for a long time yet.... but we do need a higher SP for Kodiak so we can buy a hybrid if we so choose !!!! in the meantime, I will keep my Chevy truck so I can haul my rock samples and firewood.....
