You and bearly are right on the money. This deposit is highly nuggety - brian brought it up again at the conference, and you can see it from the drill cores (lots of visible gold, btw). Listing the results over 5.4 meters is actually more realistic when you thinking of mining it. And g*m (how many grams in the 1-meter-thick equivalent slab) gives you a real number to calculate ounces from.
I do think that KXL is being very professional in the way they are doing their technical figures.
There are other juniors with a higher stock price or closer to production, but from the hundreds of companies at the conference, KXL is still my "gold standard."
Amazing too what a large team of highly skilled people KXL has.
