The question is not why, it is what (and how and when). I would not be surprised to see an equity issue (dilution) announcement at the same time and to fund an acquisition. It may be in the uranium or base metal area (but I hope not).

You may be right hrattle ... if you look at Ontex, current market cap is abbout $20 million, even at double that (to account for acquisition premium) it is still about half the Mcap of KXL. A Takover can be done via a share swap to keep cash available and KXL would then end up with about 130 mm shares outstanding and a defined resource in the BG area.

The key here also is getting it before someone else does, like Premier.
