ballyculter: Thanks for the intesting link. Seems to quiet those who doubt the feasibility of 'narrow' veins. Great find.

An interesting post of yours re: KXL going into production below. Last paragraph very interesting and a fact often forgotten IMO.

In addition to having very strong insider and institutional ownership KXL has connections to some VERY deep pockets that could possibly provide the financing required to fund the move to from 'explorer' to 'producer' (i.e. 'The Richardsons). This should not be underestimated as it could drastically reduce the amount of time such a move typically takes IMO.

With all the concentrated drilling that's been done and ongoing on the central high-grade shallow portion of the GM insiders must have a pretty good internal resource estimate by now, and it's likely improving all the time. Recently releasedmetallurgical testing results were nothing short of amazing.

Yes the process from 'explorer' to 'producer' can take ALOT of time, BUT... much of this time is used to gather an enormous amount of results required to feed into the pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, etc. The purpose of much/most of this work is to ultimately ensure the project is profitable and the company can attract the massive amount of financing needed to fund the production decision.

BUT... if production decision can be financed by insiders who have access to all internal analysis and results, etc., is there a need for 'all' the steps? Could we see a 'production upon successful completion of feasibility study announcement' soon? Or maybe KXL has already begun/completed work on an internal feasibility study of its own? Who knows. One thing is for sure, as ballyculter mentions below, KXL seems to be moving in that direction quickly IMO. New CEO announcement a good time to announce company change in focus from development company to producer? Could be.

Just talking. Comments?

Build a mine/start producing

Hello folks,

I purchased some shares in this stock in 2007 and I'm very pleased with their direction and rate of development to date. In converstation with a geo some time ago, I was told that high grade, small vein deposits can be very profitable to mine. Would prefer to see KXL build their own mine on the GM and from their NRs "Kodiak Prepares for Growth", "Metallurgical Testing of GM Shows 99%+ Recovery", they appear to be heading in this direction. Most companies will not build a mine unless they have an 8 to 10 year life span. I would hope for 20+ years for the GM due to the size of this property, the gold found to date, and the amount of exploration work still to be done to define the size and amount of gold KXL has.

As for financing, exploration, mine building etc., they have some major shareholders who might be happy to fund this company to production. I realize a great deal of patience will be required before we reach this point. I'm sure most will think I am being overly optimistic here, but that is just my opinion.
