well... I'm no expert in Uranium... not by a long shot... but the article cedartree posted doesn't make my heart jump... grade doesn't seem to be that great and it is very deep 700+meters...

  • 0.03% U3O8 = $20 a tonne/rock (equivalent to 0.045 oz/tonne gold)
  • 0.3% U3O8 = $200 a tonne/rock (0.45 oz/tonne gold)
  • 3% U3O8 = $2000 a tonne rock (4.5 oz/tonne gold)
  • 30% U3O8 = $20,000 a tonne/rock (45 oz/tonne gold!)

KXL reports grade of 0.13%U308.... which is about 87$ a tonne/rock or (0.195 oz/tonne gold). Which would be great for open pit... but this find would have to be underground.

However... this is only early days... so very promising for 4 holes.

Is anyone an expert with Uranium? Does this news bode well for finding higher grades or economical tonnage? Seems like they have a very large anomaly to work with here. It is a trend for KXL ... many kms of strike to work with!!!
