If you take the current market value and reverse calculate the inferred gold resource estimate using a Baring's value of 10% ,then you come up with about 650k oz of gold. I took the inclined long section diagram of the Golden Mile from the Kodiak website and estimated the amount of inferred gold using some reasonable assumptions. The area is shown on the diagram, the average vein thickness is 2 meters( their range listed is 1-3 meters), the approximate rock density is 2600 kg/m3 and the average grade is taken from a similar deposit at 34 g/t . I get about 300k oz which is admittedly an approximate estimate only with no value assigned to the rest of the property. The numbers do back up the current share value and what Coach said in his recent assessment. What's very timely is the repost by sparkligwatr on May 10 regarding the strategies used by Rosseau Asset Management . They look for a company with 0.5 million oz in a posiiton to expand to 2 mil oz as a good investment target, which fits Kodiak's profile. I think a lot of eyes will be watching the upcoming drilling program with keen interest.
