Seriously though, you can't get all worked up when these things don't pay 10:1 the day after you buy them.

I'm not saying that you have to hold for many years of lacklustre performance. But you have to expect that some of these "investments" will not pay out.

Not sure why I chose to reply to this message. Gold Tigger, you have probably forgotten more about stocks than I'll ever know.

My only message - don't sweat it! If you can't afford to lose the money, put it into GIC's.

So I guess I'll stay in the sandbox and be a fool.
