Got an opinion from a mining finance expert today. Bottom line - KXL doesn't see putting its own money into Otish anytime soon - better to concentrate on Hercules and West Millenium. Kirrin only gets 70% if they put $4.3 million into Otish, which is not a walk in the park to do. So KXL gets it out of their hair and if Kirrin can put some money together and makes something out of it, then great for us.
Kirrin has no cash, no geologists and no exploration activities. So they would have to do a stock offering and staff up, or they would have to bring in a third company that actually has these things.
If someone has the time, perhaps some background info could be done on the principals at Kirrin. I wonder if there's a cross-connect with Bob Harrington and his Electrum venture - Bob has many other irons in the fire. It's a small community.
The logic of Kirrin is not apparent to us here, but some sleuthing might make some sense of it. I don't think we've lost much - I didn't think much of Otish. But Kirrin kind of popped out of nowhere for me, so I'd love to figure out their connections with KXL prinicpals.
