This deal makes no sense based on the press releases so there must be more to this that hasn't been disclosed. Kirrin reposted Kodiak's press releases regarding the potential of the Otish properties, which reminded why I was hopefull for some more results this summer. The deal doesn't even require Kirrin to do anything this year. When screening companies for investment you look to see if they have experienced geos and cash amongst other criteria, which gives you a company , well , like Kodiak, not Kirrin! There's no way you farm out a promising property to a company like Kirrin unless there's something else going on. The only possibility I can think of is a First Nation's issue which is about to become public, but I can't find any articles so far that might back this idea up. Kodiak has already spent $ 2.5 mil on Otish so I suspect there's no problem retaining the claims for an extended time period. Hopefully more information will be disclosed. This property had ore grade samples in outcrop while West Millenium doesn't have anything yet.
