P.S. Which way will the newfie walking stick take us? Will gold break 1030?

I hate to say it, but I doubt it, although I'm not investing a hat in that bet. The central banks have infinite amounts of gold, so long as nobody asks to actually have a look at it. I have it on good authority that the Bank of England's basement gold vaults actually extend all the way to the center of the earth, chock full of "gold".
