Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
I heard back a little bit from the Denver show - a very small show, i.e. so many dozens of people instead of the masses at big shows, high end companies and larger investors, institutions, analysts, excellent chance to really communicate and not be bound by sitting in a booth. We may or may not see the stock price jump today but the higher profile will likely be useful, and I hope lead to some institutional buying. BTW thanks to those who sold me their shares at the bottom over the last day - I picked up 30k shares.
The last NR - mostly about West Geraldton - KXL themselves are very happy with it - 82.5 gpt over 2.1 meters is nothing to sneeze at. We used to get excited over 10-30 gpt. Wild Goose is a total bonus - completely new region and unknown prospect, and immediately showing gold. Brenbar quite a decent grade at 10.35 gpt over 1.7 meters. These are wider widths than many at the GM, and Wild Goose is a bonus.
I am not boosting here - I read all the disappointed comments and I'm glad they have been made. Many good thoughts and many echoed my own. I've dropped a very large amount of money via this stock and if I want to give that feeling any energy I could feel very blue. But feeling blue doesn't put any shekels in the account so I consider it a waste of time and energy. All our options are in the present. As Warren Buffett puts it, "would you invest today, at today's prices", and I would, so there.
This last NR was a "bonus" NR - we know that results on the GM are still coming out. Another forum poster here pointed out that if these results had been included in a GM release, they likely would have been overlooked, and I figure that's true. We desperately asked management to split out their NR's a bit so that we have something to chew on - and look, we're chewing like mad. Everything according to plan.
It's harder to get all jumping up and down when PG announced a hole with 1154 gpt just beforehand, but 82.5 is very good indeed - that's just a fact. 1154 is clearly nuggety (they showed the drill core) and while it's valid and I envy their hole, this is good KXL progress no matter what. I am feeling pretty sour that I gave up my RMK shares before the big run, and together with ONT I'd written them off. Just shows - all these stocks have gold, and they each move forward in spurts.
We are all a bit ragged from - as Portee pointed out - 5 months since the last NR. I can only hold my breath for so long and I think we've all been getting the bends. It's actually a pretty good NR, but when you're gulping for air you tend to breathe in hard and fast.
So next - PDAC is in 10 days. Do we get a GM NR before the show? Thankfully the last NR saved me from having to eat my hat. But I'm still betting we get a GM NR before the show.
By the way, I see that the gold chart is "doing it again" - narrow variations in price around $1016. Classic prep for a breakout. The last breakout was up from 975 to the plus-1000s.
