Energy is a funny business, this last spring it was a period where Canadian power generating company had to pay US customers to take excess power off their hand. Presently, there is still excess power generating capacity. This is mainly a result of the recession with automobile industry, pulp and paper companies and metallurgical based companies all reducing production, and thereby reducing electricity consumption.

In spite of this, and serious flooding problems, Cameco's stock is still doing pretty good so there must be a long term bullish feeling. It is going to be interesting to hear about progress at Otish, hopefully good news
