Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
Hi Guys,
I talked with Brian for about half an hour at the booth, and I also attended the presentation. There is not alot of new specific info to report, but I will provide a general review:
1. The person at the presentation was asking very pointed question at first, but began initiating what seemed to be attempts at personal attacks on Brian. Not the time and place for personal attacks as far as I am conecrned. It seems as though someone is down substantially on their KXL investment, and that person wants someone at Kodiak held accountable. I thought Brian handled the situation calmly and professionally, as anyone in his position should be able to do.
2. Brian confirmed that they have hit visible quartz veining and sulphides in the unreported holes to date, but that is all I could get out of him.
3. I wouldn't expect any results until December at the soonest.
4. They seemed to have refined the geological model at GM/Hercules due to an interpretation of the VTEM/Mag map (the map with all the pretty pnk, green and blue colourings). It appears as though they are having better exploration success where the bright colours aren't. From what I understand, the gold bearing liquids wash-out (?) the magnetic/electroconductive materials that produce the readings on the colourful map. So, I think they are concentrating in the eastern portion (the end of the GM where WL, 7 of 9 are), and less towards the Sage Property, as the conductive readings are higher in the direction of the Sage Property. Well....I hope that makes sense. Again, this is what I understood, and not necessarily what Brian was trying to say.
5. The KXL Board and Management are as anxious to see the share price higher as we are.
6. The option the Canalaska property because the anamoly indicator ran right onto their property. They will be drilling this winter.
7. Brian seemed excited about the exploration success at Brenbar. He spoke about how they have found that the workings to date on that property were only on an 'arm' of the greater anamoly, and they are now delving deeper into the larger showing that seems to be there.
8. Brian is pleased about the results at WG because after the initial drill results, they tweaked the geo model. This new modelling provided the drill location that ended with this latest nice drill results. It also helps to bolster the KXL thesis that there are multiple oppurtunities for discovery in the camp.
9. Brian agreed that maybe some money was not spent as efficiently as it could have been. KXL has learned an expensive lesson there.
If I remember anything else, I will post it.
