Turning point

Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
If we do get a couple of news releases before year end then I think it will be a turning point in that we should have clear evidence for a new gold camp or not. When I read Brian's bio,see him on the video and read reports about phone conversations with him, I wonder about the source of his confidence. He's taking a beating about lack of news and a low share price but that doesn't seem to bother him, which means he's probably got board of directors backing for this approach. He's clearly strong technically and wouldn't be pegged as a promoter type. So I'm thinking that the information he already has must indicate that the assay results will be good. The first thing you find out when drilling is whether or not you hit the quartz vein. This is crucial because if it's not present in several holes along a trend then you've lost the vein geometry and don't know where to drill next. While I don't know what the twinkle in Brian's eye may mean, everyone knows what it means if you see a twinkle in the core. If gold is visible then that short length is high grade. You can't really estimate the grade but you can note in the field that visible gold is present and over what lengths you can see it. I don't recall where they split the core in preparation for transport to the assay lab but again you get a lot of useful but qualitative information about the gold distribution in the core. You also know the hit rate( ratio of quartz veins with/without visible gold present) and can compare that with other gold camps. It was good to hear that financing was offered to us , but even more impressive for Brian to state we are solidly financed until the end of 2010 and won't take a bad money deal. So I'm encouraged and can wait to see what happens. After a couple of years, what's a couple more weeks.
