Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
heck you have to be.....otherwise who in their right minds would speculate on stocks in general...its a crap shoot big company or junior.....sept-dec 08 is a perfect example of that...however its just a matter of risk reward.....i own some what people call blue chip companys i gamble that these supposedly solid companys will grow to either give growing dividends or a capital gains....and i have been wrong....but my risk is lower than....
speculating/investing in kxl and literally `100's of other juniors.....but my reward is enhanced......its just our guesses are based on wishful thinking ,speculation and hyp....not earnings sales etc.....with the hope that we will
either get a capital gain or be buying into a company that will become a blue chip....ignoring the dissapointment of the last news release....kxl is a better speculation than 99% of the other juniors......ie. if you are looking out 3/5/10 years into the future...
kxl has a flagship property that may or may not turn out to be a smart exploration play...in the long term....but i'm optimistic that the needle in the haystack exists...this area in general has produced gold in the past and i cannot believe that it has all been found.....kxl has gambled by taking a large land position and is methodically working that ground and im gambling with it.....yes there are smaller players with better temporary results but will they actually have mines or just interesting results....which allow me to make/lose money in the shorterm.....longterm i think im better off with kxl... i neither have the time nor the temperment for short term plays...
if kxl only had this property i probably would not own it.....longterm.....its their desire to to develope more than one flagship property that convinces me to stay for the longterm....the uranium play in the athabaska basin.....the base metal properties in ont and the nwt and the jv of otish give me additional hope that the company will become a viable longterm investment....
there are those that sh....t all over managemnt for short term results...examples being letting mr chornobay go(he did what he was supposed to do... develope a grass roots play).....lack of a 43101....holding or letting go of ground.....drilling in areas which from our perspective are not important.....but if you take our emotion out of the decisions management has made over the past.... you have to give the board a litlle more than some respect for making key turning points in the companies development......
sooooo i guess they reason im posting this is to reaffirm in my own mind why im staying for the longterm......no i havn't sold the wife and morgaged the kids yet......but its coming.....thanks for letting me spout my 2 cents
