I think this has to do with the philosphy of many geologists. To be an exploration geologist you have to be an optimist and a opportunist. Promoting and selling to bring in funding is also an important task. I think Brian has done all of that and pretty well.

The problem is that he has nothing hard to show for it all. Over the last half a year I have become pretty critical to many of past and present statements, claims and analogies made.

It could have worked out differently, and it still may be, but hard times are here to stay for a while. I don't expect any 'result' NR for a very long time, the only possible upside is a takeover of something that could cause some exitement.
