Thanks for all the good info and discussion regarding the resource estimate.

I have no doubts that there are 1 million ounces at Hercules. My worry is that no one will buy the discovery (or mine it).

The Golden Mile is certainly more than a mile long, but this would produce a pit that rivals the Australian Super Pit. However, the Super Pit produces approximately 800,000 ounces per year.

As for conventional shaft mining, the current deposit is not concentrated enough. I agree with a previous poster who stated 5 million ounces is needed. Again, I use the comparison to the Bruce Channel discovery. It has multi-million ounces in a relatively small area - measured in hectares - not square kilometres.

Many folks have asked what is required to propel KXL's share price. If KXL can show that the Golden Mile has ounces at depth, this will help. The Red Lake area deposits seem to get better beyond 1000 metres.

Or, they need to come up with some monster drill holes. Grades similar to Premier's EP and Tenacity zones will help. Grades like those found in the Bruce Channel - No Brainer. And how about what San Gold found in their 007 zone - a whopping 1800 grams/ton and only 200 metres below surface!

The folks with the cash and talent to get the ounces are indeed circling, but is there enough to get them to land? Or will they fly elsewhere?
