Red, I am sorry to say that I fully agree with your assessment; IMO even worse; the gold projects are dead, except of course with a couple of lucky hits.
For Hercules, sure in the old days it could have supported about a total of about 50,000 ounces of pretty shallow mining, probably still economic if in an underdeveloped country with cheap labour and no environmental regulations.
Milestone has nothing(so far) of any value, not even close. To get any exitement there they have to find something at or within 10-20 meters to the surface. The stuff they are finding 100 to 200 meters down is too low a grade, too disperse and too far from the surface for open pit. It is IMO pointless to spend money on prooving up more of the same ....
Major refocus is on the table; better to spend the money investing in more prospective deposits or companies
