h_rattle wrote "But what about the "horizontal drilling" claim by Dorje. No-one knows what he is talking about and he refuses to elaborate. The widths in assays are always an approximation of vein width - sometimes you hit the vein perpendicular and the core width is a true width. KXL have claimed this about some of their cores. The key is not whether the drill is perpendicular or horizontal but what the core angle is with the vein. KXL have never reported a remarkable vein width (true or otherwise)." If Dorje asked IR if they drilled horizontally and they said yes, then they didn’t lie. As h_rattle indicated, veins often dip sharply, coupled with drilling at an angle can produce a horizontal intercept, which would in fact be a true width of the vein. Sam
