One drill hole yielded 22.97 grams per tonne gold across 24.8 metres contained within 43.3 metre grading.

Two miners keep going for the gold

Two Thunder Bay junior gold miners report significant progress on their projects in northwestern Ontario.
Premier Gold reports that drilling on its flagship Hardrock Project, outside Geraldton, continues to expand its resource at its NN Zone with "some of the best intersections" to date.
One drill hole yielded 22.97 grams per tonne gold across 24.8 metres contained within 43.3 metre grading.
In an April 26 statement, Downie said their drilling in this zone have produced "some of the highest grade near-surface mineralization" on the property that can be mined by open pit methods.
Meanwhile, MetalCorp said exploration on its Hemlo East property is confirming the continuity of mineralization at the company's Upper Anomalous Zone.
As a result of a deep drilling program, the company said the zone has been traced across a strike length at surface of at least two kilometres, with a down-dip length of 1.5 kilometres, and to a depth of approximately one kilometre, where it remains open.
One drill hole returned a value of 0.85 grams per tonne gold over 7.4 metres.
The property is located 35 kilometres east of the town of Marathon.
The company plans to drill at least two other deep holes
