I usually fish off Hitra, Froya and Smola and in the waters around there. Ocassionally I also fish for "blank" fish(orret and laks) in the fjords around that area as well.

I also fish for food(for my relatives in Norway who are too lazy to fish themselves) and then I often catch lots of herring, mackrel and haddock as well as good old cod. This last trip I also caught lots of pigghaa(small harmless-for us sharks) and they tend to chase the good fish away. The French do eat pigghaa and pay big money for it, but you need to know how the clean and prepare them otherwise you will end up somewhere where you don't want to be.
