Guys, don't start fighting; remember there is 3 kinds of knowledge:
1) I know what I know
2) I know what I don't know
3) I don't know what I don't know
All 3 categories have a great degree of uncertainty; in most cases the category
"I know what I know" should be replaced with "I think I know what I think I know"
For most of us I suspect category 3 is the largest, and also the most dangerous. It seems to me that the method of 'repeating someting many times will make it true', is used by a lot of people. Unfortunately this may just set you up for a big fall.
Stock promotion is a classic case since most things are unknown and naturally we all like to promote what we would like to see happen; and the general population is clueless and then to listen to the ones who repeat something the most times
