The news has some tasty appetizers to tide us over until the main course(Magino) is served. The most notable are Brenbar and GK. Brenbar has some good channel assays but we went down that road before with the Golden Mile, so now we're all from Missouri ( the show me state). The g/t numbers are high but the intercept lengths are short. The channel samples are supposed to be collected across the entire width of the vein so it would appear the vein is quite narrow. I like this prospect because it's located in an older, underexplored mine working. GK is another good prospect with very high values reported previously in GK10-40. They did confirm the gold in that hole is associated with sulphides, which can be mapped with the IP(induced polarization) surveys. Only metallic mineralization can produce strong IP anomalies so this will allow them to focus their drilling program. You can see on the map they have a number of proposed drilling locations to follow up with( GK10-42 to 47). I hope they post the IP map instead of just the magnetic map so we could get an estimate of the strike length. I wasn't expecting much from the Golden Mile and have no reason still to change that opinion. They were supposed to be drilling that area for some time now and only have one good intercept to report from the Lucky Strike. I've been waiting for news on the Magino deal to find out when the deal could close. I didn't see anything in the information circular on sedar and GGR has not posted anything there since September 2.
