Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
There is a new Corporate Presentation posted on the Kodiak website. It is dated December 17, 2010, but I believe it was posted in just the last few days. Some highlights upon first reading:
From Slide 3 ... we are now a gold exploration and mine development company. Take note, those who want Kodiak to remain in just the exploration business. This point is emphasized three times on this slide - "sustainable growth through exploration, development and production". "Magino Mine establishes the company as an emerging gold producer".
Slide 3 also lists the 2011 Company Objectives (highly likely to be fulfilled, as were the 2010 objectives):
PEA & gold resource update Magino; Expand land package at Magino and initiate district scale exploration; Advance Milestone to resource definition stage.
Of note: none of our other prospective projects mentioned at all; an obvious shift to Magino in terms not just of production, but also for expanding exploration.
From Slide 5 ... Updated share structure post GGR acquisition: $68.4 Million Market Cap., 207,323,160 Shares FD, $12.1 Million in Working Capital.
From Slide 6 ... Discussion of Acquistion results in terms of shift from pure explorer to producer, targeting 100 000 ounces/year. Acquistion cost was less than $10/ounce (sure would be nice to have another acquisition like this, but no mention of that possibility).
From Slide 7 ... An interesting chart of our M & I & Inferred Resources, beginning in January 2010 (none), to December 2010 (about 1.7 Million Ounces), and projected to April 2011 with the Magino update (roughly 2.2 Million Ounces) and the Milestone estimate (roughly 2.6 Million Ounces). Going by this chart, Kodiak is projecting a resource of less than a half million ounces at Milestone.
Slides 8 - 15 are devoted to Magino. Nothing here, essentially, that has not already been discussed. Slide 15 has their timeline:
First Quarter 2011: New Resource estimate with PEA, Infill drilling and resource expansion drilling. Second Quarter 2011: Pre-Feasibility. First Quarter 2012: Full Feasibility.
Slide 16 - Kodiak's Business Strategy. The focus, obviously, is Magino. If we hadn't made this acquisition, I shudder to think where we would be now. A nod is made to GM (fine tune the Hurcules resource) and Uranium (Optimize the Uranium assets). Beyond that, it's basically more of the same in the B-G area. One would hope that we would, with all our land there, finally hit something of real note.
Slides 17 - 20 Talk about B-G - nothing really new here.
Slides 21 - 22 Speculate on our future share value (new FD possible future share price between .97 and $1.40). Hmm, maybe if the Christmas Eve stock incentive gift was priced in THAT range, there would be a real incentive to get there and beyond.
Anyway, that's it, for what it's worth. You can find the document on our web page, or just go here: http://www.kodiakexp.com/_resources/presentations/KODIAK_Presentation_17DEC2010.pdf
Merry Christmas everyone ... M.
