I believe the catalyst has already occurred. The dam is cracked and getting worse, and a thumb just isn't going to cut it. The mainstream media is just not informing the citizenry of the depths of the problems that the western economies have. The banks are ALL insolvent. The governments and shitizens are in debt to their eyebells (even higher). We are done. Put a fork in it.

I reiterate, until the bondholders take a bath and the system gets washed out from all the misallocation of capital, and until the generation of GDP through money printing is replaced by true economic growth through innovation and production growth, we are headed down.....and gold headed up (via both fear (protection of capital) and fiat currency depreciation (inflation)).
