And along these same lines, "the universe was created in 7 days" is technically a myth, not a metaphor. 'Myth' in a highly theological sense, and not in the secular sense commonly understood. Of course, some believe it to be scientific fact, and others would think it a myth in the secular sense, but that's moot in this context.

By the way, I believe it goes "the world was created in 6 days". God took a day to rest, as the 'myth' goes, and so perhaps should we take a rest from the current line of discussion, as entertaining as it has become.
