I hadn't expected any news before the Haywood Gold Conference after the presentation for it didn't show anything new. This is, indeed, a most pleasant surprise.

All the longs will remember the days when most news was released late in the day on Fridays of long weekends. Now it's mid-week, and two full trading days to follow. I like this trend.
