Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
Jay..
Here are the last trades up to noon hour and as the buyer and seller show they are small lots coming from all different brokers..
So this shows me that retail sellers and buyers are still interested in PDG .Some that are se4lling may have bought as high as $3-4 a few years ago..I myself bought 30,000 shares at $2.70..($81,000.00),so know that we still have shareholders in that position.
At tax loss selling season is coming to an end a 2000 share trade with a two $$ tax loss is $4000.00
so there are still tax loss selling..I am not one of them..I still hold every share I ever bought...and got in this company because the Richardsons were involved in the company and still are ..When they leave..I'll be gone also..
Follow the money...
So to answer your question...Tax loss selling.and portfolio balancing..
I will be selling before Christmas ..to raise cash for my TFSA (Which I have been maximizing every year and making good divvys ,tax free.)Love those TFSA's,which I will take out of my SDRRSP to reduce the size and book value on my SDRRSP's which have to be collapsed at 71...so I am just collapsing it a little at a time every year to lessen the size of our holdings.
At 71 I will roll the SDRRSP's into Our SD RRIF's(Not a taxable event) that I established a few years ago that have been paying us big $$$$$ and maintaining our lives of leisure..
So this is a very important time of the year for me ..to attend to our family portfolios and balance the accounts so that we pay as little tax as possibly..I would not mind paying more taxes ..but the damned lickspittle running dogs that are wallowing in the trough of greed and shame on parliament hill here in Ottawa just waste it on maintaining criminals in this country that should be deported or sent where ever the hell they came from ..some third world sewer ...
Or wasting our hard earned tax $$$$ in ways I never even thought of..
Jeez Jay..Look what you made me do...Turn my self into Mr HYDE...
For those who don't know the story,Robert Louis Stevenson Wrote a novel about a Dr Jekyll who has a spilt personality and turns into the evil Mr Hyde ,when provoked..
The work is commonly associated with the rare mental condition often spuriously called "split personality", wherein within the same person there are at least two distinct personalities. In this case, the two personalities in Dr Jekyll are apparently good and evil, with completely opposite levels of morality. The novella's impact is such that it has become a part of the language, with the phrase "Jekyll and Hyde" coming to mean a person who is vastly different in moral character from one situation to the next.
Anyway we will watch the close and I'm sure we will have green close tonight and some good share prices yet before year end..
Have a good weekend..
