I have been a shareholder for almost four years but my involvement with this company extends to an earlier time when Kodiak was aggressively positioning itself as an exploration company with prospects for a significant discovery. At the time, I had a client who owned a small property adjoining Kodiak's claims in Geraldton that had some drilling carried on many years earlier. The offer negotiated was the usual 3% net smelter, some cash and shares. The deal never came to fruition but Kodiak's shares did seem attractive at $.18. I chose not to buy any at the time to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest but did follow it as it rocketed all the way to $5.00 and eventually bought some in early 2009. What I have noticed from my point of view is that, despite all the company's promises to deliver shareholder value, it has not been delivered. But the insiders continue to do well.
