.When I was passing through Lahr Germany on my way to Sardinia in the bad old days August of '69,(I could hear Jimmy Hendrix wailing on that old left handed Strat as I flew over New York at 30,000 feet, but couldn't see the ground for dope smoke)I stopped in the PX and was playing a new Martin D28..I think it was the concert model and a D35..The D 35 was a little lighter and had a better base sound and was really pretty with the three piece back..my favourite box of all is still the Gibson Hummingbird..

I tried an Ovation but it kept slipping off my knee in the music store..a wet wash cloth is the answer on the knee or piss your pants to give the box some grip..

I can't remember exactly but they were around $400.oo US and a Honda 750 was $900.00 and change..Did I say bad old days..??

I don't know what the game is here but there are millions involved and Brian always said we were explorers and now that the bidding has started ,I can see us going a lot higher...

Brian may be a slime ball, maybe, but a Smart one and will start the game playing them all again each other..The escape clause is peanuts with 6 million ounces of gold with the price rising daily..

I don t believe we had one honest minute of mining this our selves but talk like we will will get the big guys scratching each others eyes out to get that 6 million ounces..

I don't think this is over by a long shot..

I think the eye gouging...shin kicking and hair pulling has just started..

Guitars..Cadillac's...great stuff..
