Message: LOL and sigh

yes, cracks...

a) by the end of 2004 the Swiss National Bank had sold about Mt1300 (half of our gold reserves). sigh. they claim that it was necessary and in the the interest of our country. the funds were used to pay off a part of the public debt and reduce taxes. many people are against it, but more are pro and most don't know or don't care. if you read german here are 3 special links:

b) the Swissair grounding was a very painful and shocking event. many people blamed UBS and CreditSuisse for it and therefore

c) don't cry for UBS. their CEO will still get millions of Swiss francs despite the fact that no other bank has lost so much money in the subprime crisis. "Swiss financial giant UBS has reported that its writedowns as a result of the sub-prime crisis have more than doubled to about $37bn".

d) I am very sorry for Mr. Federer and wish him all the best.

I could continue the list of negatives, and the more I'll think about it, the worse I'll feel. because there is not really much I can do about the various cracks.

we must be able to distinguish between what is in our power to change and what not, and act accordingly. I think that life is too short to worry and complain.
sometimes it takes discipline to focus on the beautiful sides of life, but longterm it is rewarding.

great day for KXL and SGX.

have a pleasant evening

gerdon
