Quest (http://www.questmining.net/) has over 12 million tons of coal, 9 million of them proven. Supposedly both met and steam coal- not sure of the distribution. Yes, there is a big difference. But either way, this will be a big winner if they get into production. Kind of like buying a $2 lottery ticket and wondering whether the prize is $100 or $300.
This is obviously not something I would bet the rent on. But if they do manage to get up and running (and despite some delay, it looks as if they will), then the present market cap of 15M makes the stock a steal.
It's not the number of shares (which I had misremembered as 400m, it's more like 200+M), but the market cap. I bought some shares this morning with money I can afford to lose- and now I can afford to lose over three times as much! QMNM went from .0138 to .0725 today- up 425%- and up 10,000% (+/-) from last week. If only I'd heard of this one earlier, I would have paid for the Vegas bash myself. I don't play the lottery- but I think it's OK to have at least one pie-in-the-sky play in your portfolio.
